Our wedding “guest book” was a cowboy hat
I knew instantly upon wedding planning that I didn’t want a traditional guest book for our guests to sign because I knew it would become something that we would never open again. So I headed on over to Pinterest and looked up ideas and saw a signed cowboy hat. I then knew instantly that it was exactly what we were going to have at our wedding.
This was a super easy DIY.
I purchased the hat from Country Outfitter in a tone that complemented our wedding decor.
I grabbed sharpies from a local craft store. I designed the signage on Canva and had it printed at Staples. Lastly, I repurposed a frame that my mom had given me at the bridal shower and it complemented the aesthetic perfectly.
When it came to wedding planning overall, I was really focused on functional pieces when it came to decor, specifically things that could be repurposed in another way or used as mementos in our home. We love that we see this cowboy hat signed by the most important people to us hanging in our home.
